Penick’s Assisted Living options offer personalized assistance, supportive services and compassionate care in a professionally managed community setting. Assisted Living is the perfect alternative for seniors who can no longer live on their own at home, yet do not need 24-hour complex, medical supervision.
Individuals who move into Penick for Assisted Living are provided a unique service that has been purposefully planned to fill their individual needs and preferences and designed to serve them to the best of our ability. Our nursing staff meets with the new resident and family prior to move in to fully understand each situation and design a personalized plan.
Assisted Living typically provides assistance in the following areas, known as activities of daily living:
- Personal hygiene and grooming
- Dressing & clothes selection
- Medication management
- Showering and bathing
- Life Enrichment activities provided on- and off-site
- Mobility & transferring
- Monitoring of safety
Penick currently offeres Assisted Living in two locations on campus: the North Building, also known as the Health Services Building, and our new model of care, the Garden Cottage, pictured above.
